After thinking about getting a pet I settled on a Ferret. What I thought was it would be so easy to take care of one. It was not quite as easy as I thought. 

After some time of trying to figure things out on my own, I knew I needed something to help me out. I found the Ferret Care Interview E-book and Mp3 website. Some of the great things I learned from reading and listening was how to stop them from urinating outside of the litter box. 

This was big problem with JR. He would not do his business in the box. After one week he was going in the box all the time. This one thing was well worth it for me. Another great tip from the book was how long I can leave my ferret alone when I go on vacation, or how to travel with JR when I was going on long trips.

Of the two books I purchased on ferret care, I would have to say this is the best one.

This book was the first one that I checked out and it is a good one. It had some good information about how stop your ferret from bitting, and also how to get your ferret to be more friendly. 

This one really did help me. JR was a bit shy at first and this tip from the book did help and JR has become a lap ferret...

One thing that this book does do better than the first is it has a real good chapter on breeding ferrets. If you are thinking about breeding ferrets then this is the book to get. It gives good pros and cons to this and some good recommondations.
